HOW TO GET OFF TO A GOOD 2005

  Isaiah 40:3 “The Lord says, `Forget about what has happened before.  Do not think about the past.  Instead, look at the new things I'm going to do.'" 

 

1. STOP MAKING EXCUSES.

Proverbs 28:13 “A man who refuses to admit his mistakes can never be successful.  But if he confess and forsakes them he gets another chance.” 

 

2. LISTEN TO OTHERS.

Proverbs 15: "Plans fail without good advice.”

 

3. TYPES OF COUNSELORS

1. Someone who has God’s best interest for your life - A pastor, etc.

2. Someone who really knows you well - Your spouse, etc.

3. Someone who is an expert in the area of your concern

Matthew 9.  "According to your faith it will be done to you."
